I enjoy teaching. I've taught Computer Skills and repair classes at adult night schools and worked in the field for over 20 years. I enjoy watching others grow and learn. Being of service is very fulfilling to me. I also was a sustitutue English, Math and History teacher at the high School and college level (Adjunct).

One of my core beliefs in education is not doing it alone. In technology we call it "a second set of eyes". There is nothing better than to get an objective viewing of your work. It's not criticism; it's sharing perspectives. Visual learning (or hands-on ) , where available, is the absolute best type of learning. And I believe in the saying "If you want to learn something; teach it to others". I am an amateur musician and I play the guitar. A little bit of piano. I also enjoy learning studio engineering and recording and may pursue a second career in this field. As an aside, I like to tell people that I feel I have above average vocabulary skills and that I attribute this to voracious reading from as early as I can remember reading. The majority of my exposure to advanced (for a third or fourth grader ) vocabulary came from comic books. It surprises people to hear that but I believe it's absolutely true. I strongly believe in reading, in general, as a major contributing factor to a well-rounded and somewhat advanced education.
